The "perch" thing ...
I'm almost speechless this morning.
According to The Washington Post, when asked what the "high point" of his presidency has been, Bush told a German newspaper reporter ...
"I would say the best moment of all was when I caught a 7.5 pound perch in my lake."
The thing is, a 7.5 pound freshwater perch is a new world record catch. The largest perch on record is only 4 pounds, three ounces.
You've read correctly, my friends. Bush lied about a fish.
Makes you wonder what else he's not telling the truth about, doesn't it?
