They did WHAT?!?
Okay, I'm all about stopping terrorism. By all means, within the bounds of the law, we should be concentrating our resources on intelligence operations aimed at shutting down these guys before they strike. The liquid bomb thing is a good example, I think ... (Reports were awfully vague, and I find it particularly distasteful for VP Cheney to use secret national security information for political "gain" -- a full day ahead of the busts, but just hours after he had been briefed it was en route.)
My issue: Its the stupidity, stupid.
Bush's troll, Department of Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff, directed airport security personnel to collect all liquids in trash can containers, like these ...
And these ...
So, given the threat was from liquids that, when mixed, could set off an explosion big enough to bring down an airplane ... One must ask: why they are mixing all these supposedly dangerous liquids in an AIRPORT TERMINAL, of all places?
What the hell is wrong with these people?
