Sudan Action Alert
The Sudan divestment bill (SB247) is scheduled for a vote by the Texas House of Representatives TOMORROW, Tuesday, May 15.
The bill would require that the Employees Retirement System and the Teachers Retirement System to divest from certain companies doing business in Sudan.
Call your State Representative today to let him or her know your opinion about this issue!!!
If you favor passage of this bill, ask your rep to vote for it without amendments.
